    PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI STRATEGI PROBLEM SOLVING PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    This classroom action research aims to improve the quality of the activity and the student learning outcomes in mathematics. Subjects were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 East Metro with totally 35 students. Students and teacher's activity data were collected by observation. Result learning collection by assessment. The results showed that the use of problem solving strategies in mathematics learning material of rupture numbers, can increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Metro Timur sejumlah 35 orang. Data aktivitas siswa dan guru dikumpulkan melalui observasi. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui asesmen bentuk pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan strategi problem solving dalam pembelajaran matematika materi bilangan pecah, dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, problem solving

    EFEKTIVITAS IMPLEMENTASI PILAR MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH DI SEKOLAH DASAR PROVINSI LAMPUNG

    The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the effectiveness of the implementation of MBS in core or coaches elementary school which received the input of MBS 2014. The research approach used was qualitative case study design about the effectiveness of the implementation of the curriculum management, students, educators, infrastructure, financing, school relationship with the community, and the environment and culture of the school. Source of the research data were the superintendent, principals, teachers, administrative staff committees and core/coaches elementary schools in five (5) SD of five (5) districts/cities in Lampung. The data collecting technique was using interview, observation and documentation study. The data analysis used Miles and Huberman interaction model which were data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of school-based management has been running effectively and involving stakeholders, but has not been supported by the availability of supporting documents.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan efektivitas implementasi MBS di SD inti/pembina penerima input MBS tahun 2014. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus tentang efektivitas implementasi manajemen kurikulum, peserta didik, tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, sarana prasarana, pembiayaan, hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat, dan lingkungan dan budaya sekolah. Sumber data penelitian adalah pengawas, kepala sekolah, guru, komite dan staf tata usaha SD inti/pembina di 5 (lima) SD dari 5 (lima) kabupaten/kota Provinsi Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, pengamatan dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data digunakan model interaksi Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah sudah berjalan efektif dan melibatkan stakeholders, namun belum didukung ketersediaan dokumen penunjang.Kata kunci: efektivitas, manajemen berbasis sekolah, sekolah dasa

    The Effectiveness of Learning Design Based on Problem Based Learning Model Oriented Mathematicalcritical Thinking Skills of Fifth Grade in Elementary School

    This research is based on the low critical thinking skills shown by the low learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning design models based on Problem Based Learning in improving mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in elementary schools. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a qualitative approach. The study population was all fifth-grade students of Elementary Schools in group 3 in Region II GedongTataan,Pesawaran. The research sample has 55 students and consisted of the fifth-grade student of Public Elementary School 5 GedongTataanas many as 27 students as the experimental class and the fifth-grade students of Public Elementary School 28 GedongTataanas many as 28 people as a control class. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire and test of learning outcomes. Data analysis was performed using the acquisition of N-Gain. The results showed that the learning design based on the Problem Based Learning model was effective to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills with the acquisition of N-Gain of 0.49. The type of research used is research and development that refers to the theory of Borg & Gall. The population of this research is the students of 5th grade of Primary School in Metro East.     Pengaruh Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

    This study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the RME approach on mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a type of experimental research with research designs non-equivalent group control design. The population of this study was fourth grade students of SDN 1 Mulyosari. The study was determined by  purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the average N-Gain value in the experimental class was 0.55 (medium category). While the average N-Gain value in the control class is 0.35 (medium category). The results of the study concluded that there were positive and significant effects indicated by the calculation of the value of the posttest of the experimental class and the control class with the value of tcount ttable that is 2.59 2.00 (with α = 0.05).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendekatan RME terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Mulyosari. Penelitian ditentukan dengan  sampling purposive. Hasil penelitian diperoleh  nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,55 (kategori sedang). Sedangkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,35 (kategori sedang). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan ditunjukan dengan perhitungan nilai posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai thitung ttabel yaitu 2,59 2,00 (dengan α = 0,05).Kata kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, RME

    The aims of this research were: (1) to produce student worksheet based on guided inquiry, (2) to know the attractiveness, convenience, and benefits of student worksheet based on guided inquiry, and (3) to know the effectiveness of student worksheet based on guided inquiry. This type of research is research and development adaptation of Borg and Gall. The population of this research is students of fourth grade SDN 4 Sukabanjar with 26 students. The results of this research were: product of student worsheet based guided inquiry of valid for use, attractive, convenien, and benefit. Student worksheet based on guided inquiry are in very interesting/excellent category which effective for use.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing,(2) mengetahui kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing, dan (3) mengetahui keefektivan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dari Borg and Gall. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Sukabanjar sejumlah 26 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: produk LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang valid untuk digunakan, menarik, mudah, dan bermanfaat.     Pengembangan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada Pembelajaran Tematik

    The aim of this research and development were to produce a worksheet based problem based learning model which suitable on tthematic learning for fifth class of elementary school, and to know the effectiveness of worksheet based on problem based learning model. The method of this research used research and development by Borg Gall. The population were students of fifth grade from 6 (six) schools with 166 students. The sample determined with purposive sample as many as 55 students from two class. The data were collected using questionnaire for feasibility of the worksheet and multiple choice and description for measuring effectivenes of the worksheet. The data were analyzed by using t-test formula. The research showed that worksheet based problem based learning model were suitable to be used and effective for enhancement learning outcome of student.Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar LKS berbasis model problem based learning yang layak pada pembelajaran tematik kelas V SD, dan mengetahui keefektivan LKS berbasis model problem based learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan oleh Borg Gall. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V di 6 (enam) sekolah sebanyak 166 orang. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan purposive sampling sebanyak 55 orang di dua kelas. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar angket untuk kelayakan, dan soal pilihan ganda dan uraian untuk mengukur efektivitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS berbasis model problem based learning layak digunakan, dan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Keywords: LKS, problem based learning, hasil belaja

    Developing Students’ Activity Worksheet Based on Constructivism Approach to Grow Critical Thinking of Grade IV Elementary School Students

    The Research and development is aimed to develop students’ activity worksheet based on contructivism approach to grow critical thinking of the students, to analyse the attractiveness and effectiveness of students’ activity worksheet. This research and development refers to the theory of  Borg and Gall. The subjects of the research are the expert of material validity, media, language, teachers, and grade IV students of State Elementary School 1 Nunggalrejo. Some instruments applied are test to measure learning result and critical thinking ability of the students’ activity worksheet which has been validated by the experts of material, media, language, and classroom teacher. The result of the research shows that the students’ activity worksheet which is developed based on the result of the students’ need analysis can be applied for 2013 curriculum, and refers to the positive response of the students it is attracting them.     Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Tematik Berbasis Learning Cycle 5E

    The purpose of the research was to produce and know the effectiveness of thematic Student Work Sheet based on Learning Cycle 5E on class IV of elementary school at State Elementary 1 Bumiharjo. The research method used was Research and Development (R D). The Instruments of data collection were questionnaires, multiple choice and essay test. The population of the research was 120 students. Sampling technique of research used Purposive Sampling technique, as many as 68 students from 2 schools divided into two groups, control group and experiment group. The data were analyzed using t-test formula. The results of research showed that: 1) The establishment of LKPD thematic based on Learning Cycle 5E for grade IV SD; 2) LKPD thematic-based Learning Cycle 5E is effectively used as teaching materials in developing learning materials for the fourth grade of elementary school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk LKPD tematik berbasis Learning Cycle 5E dan mengetahui efektivitas LKPD tematik berbasis Learning Cycle 5E Kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Bumiharjo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research And Development (RD) atau penelitian dan pengembangan. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar angket, soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 120 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling sebanyak 68 siswa dari 2 sekolah yang dibagi menjadi kelompok control dan eksperimen Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terwujudnya LKPD tematik berbasis Learning Cycle 5E untuk kelas IV SD dan LKPD tematik berbasis Learning Cycle 5E efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci : efektivitas LKPD, learning cycle 5E, tematik
